2017, Denver, Colorado
Created for Redline Art Center's exhibition, "Land Trust", subVert: Denver explored ideas around food accessibility and Denver's large homeless population. After repurposing a small fleet of derelict shopping carts of the streets of downtown Denver, the carts were taken by Our Beloved Village, Denver's first tiny house village for the homeless. The carts were planted, grown and nurtured throughout the summer and then loaned to the gallery for the exhibition. They reside with the village.
